Somebody has to pay for all the fancy equipment, right? That's what Vaughn does. He kept in the background of Ascending Heaven, but one day he was captured by OMNIcorp and needed to be rescued. However, he didn't appreciate Julian's bloodshed.

Julian doesn't like him very much, and the feeling is a bit mutual. In the past, Vaughn was a major drug lord of the city, but after some events, he decided to give up his past and fight against OMNIcorp, hoping to make up for some of the things he's done. He knows Julian from his earlier days.

Calm and somewhat melancholy in nature, he's confident in following his own path in life, no matter what the cost, and is committed to bringing OMNIcorp down.

Sadly he died for his cause, shot by OMNIcorp as he gave a speech, but he faced his death with the same conviction and determination that he used in his life. His memory still inspires and guides Ascending Heaven to this day.

Rosewood

Rosewood appears whenever he feels like it. He seems to take special interest in pestering Julian, as he has for years. He has some sort of grand scheme involving Julian. Julian refuses to talk about it. He also has known Dryas for a long time, but he doesn't discuss that much around others.

Always cheerful, Rosewood delights in pointing out situations and what could be done instead- and forcing people to examine their motives. Most times he seems to know what is going on more than anyone can truly guess. What he is trying to achieve is unknown.

President

A loud, crass but finacially astute man who crave control and money. He enjoys the power running OMNIcorp brings, and misuses it constantly for his amusement.

Vice President

The Vice President of OMNIcorp is known to be ruthless and far worse than his father, the president. His plans are his own, however.

Recently Ascending Heaven discovered that he's the one trying to unlock some ancient power for himself- and he has half the means to do it!

Captured by OMNIcorp in the past and thought dead by his family, he has been working with the Vice President of OMNIcorp. During that time he rose to a position in the inner circle of OMNIcorp, but for what ends?

Later he tells Ascending Heaven of the real threat that OMNIcorp brings to the world when he finally revealed his existance to Julian and the others... and sends them on their way to Nippon in the east.

The Oracle of the East

The Oracle of the East has many powers of prophesy, and she knows the old legends- and how they relate to today. However, in her day to day life, Etsuko is the matriarch of the Shinogumi, a well connected and powerful yakuza family. Her powers have helped her lead the family to prosperity for the last 50 years.

She has many children, and even more grandchildren. Her daughter married the leader of the Telari family and had 5 sons, one of which is Julian. She has also discovered the role her grandsons are playing in these turbulent times, and strives to aid them.

Etsuko may not be the most doting of grandmothers, but she does really care about her family and will use everything in her power to ensure their welfare during these times.
